Digital Presence: Website

Judge’s comments

From images to font to use of the space, this website is clean and harmonious and makes the viewer want to spend more time with the content. While the homepage is heavily weighted to home and decor content it also hits all of the content pillars, without it feeling like a forced fit.  The social media banners and design of the Twitter and Instagram integrations at the bottom of the article pages feel fresh and noticeable without being overly distracting or annoying.  This has well-focused editorial, in a way that didn’t feel cluttered, and delivers on its mission.  Excellent writing and an overall wonderful site design that celebrates what the web can do.

This site is a great example of clear focus and editorial choice. Love the clean design. The neighbourhoods survey is nicely done. It offers some interactivity and visitor participation. The main navigation headers and their drop down items are clear and concise. GOLD WINNER
