GOLD: How I Did Not Try To Kill Andrew Suknaski Alberta Views

An accomplished illustration. Well communicated storytelling with engaging styling and character-personality which convinced me to stop and read. It’s clean and every bit as evocative as the title. This is one of those exceptional illustrations that not only pulls a person in, but compliments and elevates the article it is attached to; a real winner.

SILVER: Walking on Whyte Avenue Edmonton

The graphic qualities, created by the minimal colour and poster-style composition contrast with the delicate realism as an effective juxtaposition, creates a striking but at the same time quietly emotive image. It captured my attention and stayed with me long afterwards.
